The KU School of Architecture & Design (ArcD) is hosting an alumni reception Wednesday, October 26, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at GFF’s Uptown Dallas office. Connect with fellow Dallas-Fort Worth-area Jayhawks and reconnect with classmates and friends.

PORT–the public realm design and planning consultancy co-founded by KU architecture professor Andrew Moddrell–will design a site-responsive installation that will be displayed in one of the country’s most iconic sites for Modern architecture next August.  

KU Photography program hosting free workshop for high school students

The Photography program at the University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design is hosting a free one-day photography workshop for high school students on KU’s campus in Lawrence. Students have the option of attending the workshop on either Saturday, Oct. 29, or Sunday, Oct. 30.

The University of Kansas will host its 110th Homecoming Sept. 26-Oct. 1. The week will feature a variety of events for alumni and students, culminating in the KU football game against Iowa State at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

Healthcare design expert Herminia Machry joins KU interior architecture faculty

In the past 18 years, Machry worked as a design practitioner on several healthcare facility projects. She focuses her research on improving design to ensure better safety, engagement, and cognition outcomes within healthcare environments.
