The present and future of artificial intelligence in architecture and design will be the focus of the annual University of Kansas Health + Wellness Design Symposium on Monday, Feb. 19.

Studio Spotlight: Interior Architecture students use virtual reality to assess designs

Third-year Interior Architecture students developed an ambitious project to design a child development center (CDC) catering to toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first- and second-graders.

Fall Interior Architecture (IA) studio reviews were a culmination of weeks of research, problem-solving, and hands-on construction. Throughout the semester, students used analog and digital tools to design, analyze, and visualize high-performance interior environments.

KU architecture class partners with Lawrence elementary school to construct shade structure

Third-year KU Designbuild students designed and fabricated an 800-square-foot pavilion and companion rain garden with native plantings at the first fully-accessible playground in Kansas. A grand opening event will take place on Dec. 15 in Lawrence.
