Bookmobile created by ArcD students to be unveiled Aug. 20 in downtown Lawrence

Dottie, the Lawrence Public Library’s new bookmobile, designed and built by University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design students and architecture professor Nils Gore, will be officially introduced to the public on Saturday, Aug. 20, in downtown Lawrence.

The event will run from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on the Library Lawn, 707 Vermont Street. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. followed by food, drinks and an outdoor screening of the movie, Luca.
