KU Design Symposium Lecture Series

The KU Design Symposium Lecture Series was established in 1984 through the generosity of the Hallmark Corporate Foundation with the goal and intention of enriching the education of students at the University of Kansas through exposure to designers, artists and educators from the United States and abroad.

The Architecture Lecture Series welcomes architecture and experiential design leaders from around the country to the School of Architecture & Design. Lecturers bring a wide range of expertise in areas such as sustainable building, digital environments, public interest design, historic preservation, health and wellness design, and more.

KU Photography Workshop

Join this exciting and immersive one-day photography workshop. Participants will make their own portrait using large format film in the lighting studio, develop the film, and make a contact print in the darkroom to take home. This free workshop is open to high school photographers of any skill level.
