KU Architecture students awarded 2022 Kansas City Architectural Foundation scholarships

LAWRENCE — Among the 12 Kansas City-area students pursuing degrees in architecture who were awarded 2022 Kansas City Architectural Foundation scholarships, seven were from the University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design.

The scholarship winners were recognized at an awards ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri, in August. The KU students: 

  • Emily Almloff, Overland Park
  • Madison Beck, Olathe
  • Ashley Decker, Overland Park
  • Reese Gilmore, Leawood
  • Jose Moreno, Kansas City, Missouri
  • Sarah Montes, Olathe
  • Ashlyn Reece, Overland Park

The Kansas City Architectural Foundation has awarded more than $470,000 in scholarships since being founded in 1984 and more than $40,000 a year to students pursuing degrees in architecture and design.
