Biography

Glen LeRoy's career has spanned both the academic and professional worlds of architecture, urban planning, and urban design. He received a bachelor's and a master's degree in architecture from Tulane University, as well as two master's degrees in architecture and city planning from the University of Pennsylvania. As a professor in architecture at KU for two decades, he founded the School's award winning urban design studio in Kansas City. He also served as Dean of the College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University, before becoming the seventh President of the Boston Architectural College. In professional practice, Glen was the founding principal of the nationally recognized urban design, planning, and landscape architectural practice at Gould Evans Associates (now Multistudio). He also led many of the firm's architectural projects. For his academic career at KU and his role in professional practice, he was named a Fellow of both the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) and the American Institute of Certified Planners (FAICP), the two organization's highest membership honors.
