Jason D. Reece

Jason D Reece serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Kansas (KU) School Architecture + Design. He earned bachelor’s degree in Architecture from KU. Jason has spent the last 30 years working in architectural offices in the Kansas City area, running his own practice for 20 years (Focus Architecture) and now currently works as a Sr Project Manager at DLR Group in their hospitality division. Throughout his career Jason has specialized in designing mixed-use, multi-family, corporate and hospitality buildings for developers throughout the country. His projects have received both local and national design awards. Recent notable projects that Jason has worked on include the Hilton Cascade Hotel in Kansas City, Miraval Spa in Tucson Arizona, Miraval Berkshires in Lenox, MA, Reserve Embassy Suites in Kansas City, AC Hotel in Houston, TX, and the Hilton Cleveland Downtown hotel in Cleveland, OH.
