Sky Maggiore

Sky Maggiore is an artist and educator from rural New York. His practice utilizes photography as an experimental point of inquiry to contemplate legibility, sense of self and safety. Maggiore received an MFA from the University of Arkansas where he completed a graduate fellowship. Maggiore was an instructor in photography at AGBU Camp Nubar in Delancey, NY, and actively facilitates creative opportunities for young people through volunteer workshops, specifically queer youth. He currently lives and works in Lawrence, KS.
