Event begins in Marvin Hall. Refreshments will be provided. We encourage students to show their families around the ArcD complex.
We will have two demonstrations of the equipment that students have access to and utilize for their projects. You can visit either or both demonstrations!
Visit the Laser lab (Chalmers Hall, rooms 200 B and C) to participate in a demonstration of our industrial laser cutters as they are used to create a Jayhawk keychain that you’ll get to keep.
Visit the RISO lab (Chalmers Hall, room 203C) to participate in a demonstration of our RISO printer as it is used to create a fun print you can take home!
Demonstrations will run from 1pm-3pm
Families can continue to explore the ArcD complex and enjoy refreshments at their own pace.

We have set the time of the Open House to work around the schedule of classes as much as possible. Some students may still have conflicts due to their course schedules. Students are encouraged to attend if their schedules allow. The student will need to communicate with their instructor to see if there can be any flexibility with their attendance if they have class during the event.
