Community Excellence Alliance

The Community Excellence Alliance at the KU School of Architecture & Design is a group of firms that recognize the importance of fostering an environment of access, success, respect, and belonging for all at the school and have the desire to support the school’s efforts in this area. 

The Community Excellence Alliance firms make a 5-year financial commitment to any of the school’s initiatives, based on the firm’s size.  

Members of the Community Excellence Alliance meet with the Associate Dean for Community Excellence once a year to discuss the past year’s efforts, plan for the upcoming year, and receive updates on overall progress towards enriching access, success, respect, and belonging at the school.

Each member firm is also invited to send employees to a variety of school activities that include, but are not limited to, pipeline projects, studio reviews, portfolio reviews, and student gatherings to interact directly with current and prospective students and faculty.
