Ann L. Alcasabas

Ann Alcasabas is a creative director, designer and visiting assistant teaching professor based in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in the midwest and graduated with a BFA in Design at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. Ann cultivated her skills as an in-house designer in San Francisco before jumping to the east coast to get a MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. After teaching and freelancing at MICA, she moved back to Kansas City with her family to raise her two daughters and contribute to the advertising community in KC. With national and local design awards ranging from pharmaceutical health, branding and their work in diversity, equity and advocacy, Ann is continuing her freelance practice in design and creative direction.
