After weeks of site work in Topeka and prefabrication in Lawrence, ArcD's ongoing collaboration with the Kansas Children's Discovery Center is about to realize another architectural attraction at the interactive children’s museum in Topeka. 

Studio Spotlight: first-year design students explore typography in three dimensions

By taking typographic studies from two dimensions into three, students discover countless insights into how language can be visually expressed and how ideas can be emphasized, altered, and sometimes completely transformed by context.

The KU Department of Design is currently accepting applications for Fall 2023. Learn how to submit your portfolio, what to include, and upcoming deadlines. To be considered for admission during the priority application period, submit materials by November 1st.
